<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin having heat resistance, humidity resistance, dielectric performance, and flame retardant effect. <P>SOLUTION: This epoxy resin is represented by general formula (1) wherein X represents an oxygen atom, a methylene group, a methylene group substituted by a 1-4C alkyl group, a methylene group substituted by a phenyl group, a methylene group substituted by a naphthyl group, a methylene group substituted by a biphenyl group, a methylene group substituted by a 9-fluorenyl group, or a methylene group on whose phenyl group, naphthyl group, or biphenyl group an alkyl group is further substituted by an aromatic ring; n and m are each an integer of 0-5; and p is an average repeating unit number of 0-10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
