PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately survey with the reduced calibration man-hour. SOLUTION: The optical rangefinder is provided with a light emitting part for emitting measuring light to a supervisory space, a light receiving part 2 receiving the measuring light reflected or re-emitted by a target existing in the supervisory space, and an evaluation unit for determining passing time of the measuring light from an output signal thereof and calculating a distance of the target from it. PIN diode circuits 200 and 300 are electrically connected between the light receiving part 2 and an evaluating circuit, and the PIN diode circuits 200 and 200 attenuate a current output signal of the light receiving part 2.
