PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collection method and a system (apparatus) capable of selectively adsorbing substances to be collected and easily collecting them and provide a method and an apparatus for analyzing the substances to be collected using the collection system. SOLUTION: Double-helix DNA is formed in a solid phase as the adsorbent. Water to be treated is brought into contact with the solid phase to adsorb a substance to be collected in the double-helix DNA. An eluent is used to perform elution and recover the substance to be collected in the eluent. By analyzing the eluent after elution with the substance to be collected as a substance to be detected, it is possible to detect the presence or absence of the substance to be detected or its amount in the water to be treated.
