PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition for glass, which can prevent adhesion to press molds, and does not cause the formation of cracks and the warping of the glass, even when processed into a film having a thickness of severalμm to ten severalμm. SOLUTION: This coating composition for the glass, for forming colored layers on the surfaces of the glass comprises the following curable silicon component (A) and a heat-resistant pigment (B). Therein, the curable silicon component (A) is a component comprising one or more curable silicon compounds containing a curable silicon compound (1) having a silicon atom bound to a hydrocarbon group and a silicon atom bound to a hydroxyl group or a hydrolysable group (wherein, both the silicon atoms may be an identical silicon atom).
