PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate useful for producing a benzylamine derivative, and a method for producing the intermediate. SOLUTION: The method for producing an ethylenediamine derivative represented by formula (6) is characterized by reacting an aziridine compound represented by formula (5) with a primary amine.
