PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate attachment, replacement, and positioning of tip blades relative to tip bases in a hole cutter. SOLUTION: A plurality of tip bases 3 and a plurality of tip attachment recesses 4 are arranged side by side alternately in the periphery of the end of a blade cylinder in the rotational direction of the blade cylinder. In each of the tip attachment recesses 4, the tip blade 12 is attached in an attachment face 6, which is a side face on an XB side in the opposite direction of the rotational direction XF of the blade cylinder out of both side faces of the respective tip bases 3 opposed to each other in the rotational direction X of the blade cylinder, and the respective tip blades 12 are arranged side by side with intervals with respect to each other in the rotational direction X of the blade cylinder. In a locking section (a locking recess 9 and a locking protrusion 16) formed between the attachment face 6 of the tip base 3 and the attachment face 15 of the tip blade 12 facing the attachment face 6, the tip blade 12 is screwed relative to the tip base 3 by a female and male screw mechanism (a female screw hole 7 and a male screw member 22) while the tip blade 12 is locked in the tip base 3. According to this invention, attachment, replacement, and positioning of the tip blades 12 relative to the tip bases 3 in the hole cutter can be facilitated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
