PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a training device allowing a user to learn the sense of the gravity center and strengthen the tendon and a muscle group of the lower half body required for creating a beautiful posture necessary for dancing. SOLUTION: The sandal type training device 1 consists of a base part 2 and a strap part 3. A grounding surface 24 of the base part 2 and a rear area 21B in a sole contact face 21 have areas superposed on each other in parallel and in the vertical direction so that, when stepping on the ground with this by the heel, the user can stably step on and master the beautiful standing posture conscious of the center of gravity of the body. A front region 21F is inclined to lower toward the tiptoe direction so that, when walking or exercising with this, the user can effectively strengthen the tendon of the sole and the muscle group.
