PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase and decrease expectations that a player has for whether the reporting of information that makes it possible to evade the operation of a state disadvantageous to the player is to be performed. SOLUTION: In the reel type game machine, the operation of the state disadvantageous to a player is performed when a prescribed pattern combination is displayed by a plurality of reels. A plurality of drawing states wherein the probability of determining to perform the reporting of information for evading the display of the prescribed pattern combination is respectively different are set, and several pieces of data (specifying data, hereafter) for specifying one of the plurality of drawing states corresponding to the number of times of games counted on the basis of the detection of a start operation are set. Then, every time the number of times of games is counted, the pertinent drawing state is selected on the basis of the specifying data determined from the several pieces of specifying data, and whether to perform the reporting is determined by drawing on the basis of the selected drawing state.
