摘要 Provided is a secondary battery electrode capable of realizing a secondar y battery of a high output and a high durability. The electrode is character ized in that it is made of an electrode material containing an active substa nce powder (11), an electrically conductive material (12) made of a carbon m aterial and bonded to the surface of the active substance powder (11), and f ibrous conductive materials (13) bound to the electrically conductive materi al (12). At first, the electrically conductive material is bonded to the sur face of the active substance powder, so that the electric connection between the active substance powder and the electrically conductive material can be stably kept. Moreover, the fibrous conductive materials are bound to the el ectrically conductive material bonded to the surface of the active substance powder. The fibrous conductive materials are enabled to keep their electric connections by entangling themselves. In short, even if the electrode mater ial is distorted, the fibrous conductive materials can absorb the distortion thereby to keep their mutual contacts and electric connections, so that the electric connections are not cut but can be kept unlike the conductive mate rials of the prior art even if a large distortion occurs.
