<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost creep prevention mechanism for a bearing capable of being assembled in a short period of time and surely preventing creeping. <P>SOLUTION: The creep prevention mechanism for the bearing prevents relative slide of bearing rings (inner and outer rings 2, 4) arranged to confront with each other in a relatively rotatable manner and an attachment section (for example, a housing 8) to which the race rings are attached. The creep prevention mechanism is provided with a recessed part G formed by partially recessing a circumferential surface 4s of at least one of the bearing rings (the outer ring) at a side for attaching to the attachment section and a wedge mechanism provided between the recessed part and the attachment section. The wedge mechanism is provided with an elastically deformable elastic part (a spring member 10) and a wedge part (a rolling member 12) kept in a state pressed to the attachment section by the elastic part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
