PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for easily producing solid/liquid two-phase nitrogen with simple constitution and a method for easily producing the solid/liquid two-phase nitrogen by a simple method. SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing the solid/liquid two-phase nitrogen comprises a storage 2 to store the solid/liquid two-phase nitrogen, a freezer 1 set on the storage 2, a cold head 3 dipped in liquid nitrogen 6 in the storage 2 and cooled by the freezer 1 and a heater 4 attached to the cold head 3 and is characterized by that solid nitrogen 7 adhered to the cold head 3 by being cooled with the freezer 1 is heated by the heater 4 and peeled.
