PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide one-side welding equipment that can reduce the number of parts upon securing strength of a backing device. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the one-side welding equipment having a backing part 10 for closely sticking a backing flux W to the reverse side of a groove line M where members to be welded E are butted each other. The equipment includes: a base frame H equipped with at least two main beams H1 installed in parallel in the longitudinal direction of the groove line M and a plurality of connecting beams H2 that connect between the main beams H1 at right angles and that are installed with prescribed spaces apart in the longitudinal direction; an elevation means 2 installed on the connecting beams H2; a rack frame 3 raised/lowered by the elevation means 2; a plurality of groups of backing rollers 4 that support the backing part 10 movably in the width direction, that arrays the group of backing rollers 5 in the width direction, and that are arranged in a position corresponding to the connecting beams H2; a driving mechanism for moving the backing part 10 in the width direction; and a reinforcing member 19 that is provided in the backing part 10 along the longitudinal direction between adjacent backing rollers 4.
