<p>Various solutions for repairing and reinforcing containers are disclosed. Embodiments of the present invention provide patches or reinforcing members which may be conveniently and effectively adhered to a container to improve the structural integrity thereof, protect the contents of the container, and provide an aesthetically- pleasing repair/reinforcement of the container. A substantially-planar patch may be used to repair or reinforce a surface of a container, while patches for adhering to multiple surfaces of the container may be used to repair or reinforce edges or corners. The thickness of the patch may be substantially less than that of its other dimensions to provide a low-profile repair or reinforcement, thereby reducing subsequent damage to the container caused by snagging or catching the patch on external objects. Additionally, the adhesive may bond the patch to the container to reduce separation and withstand loadings imparted to the container.</p> |
