The present invention is directed to a hinge module of a folder type portable terminal, which can automatically open the folder type terminal by a simple button operation. The hinge module comprises: a hollow button; a first elastic member longitudinally disposed in the hollow of the button; a shaft longitudinally disposed next to the elastic member; a shaft cam disposed at the side opposing the button in the longitudinal direction; a sub cam with a part or all of its inner side disposed to rotate around the outer side of the shaft cam; a holder cam with a part of its one side seized between the shaft cam and the sub cam; and a second elastic member longitudinally disposed next to the holder cam to elastically restore the holder cam.
