<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a student evaluation system and a student evaluation method, capable of evaluating the attendant state of each student, a statement of the student during a lecture time or the like, displaying the evaluation result in a place where a lecturer can see it, so that the lecturer can progress the lecture while seeing the evaluation data in the past lectures of students, and actively urging the students to speak out to activate the lecture. <P>SOLUTION: The student evaluation device 1 authenticates each student from an ID code read from the student's IC tag, assigns an attendance point to the student, and generates and displays an attendant student list including at least the attendance point and a speaking-out point of each of the authenticated students.
