<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system preventing illegal use and efficiently performing original processing. <P>SOLUTION: Communication between an operation system and an application is entirely managed by audit trace processing software. As for the execution of an application, for instance, only the application registered beforehand by a manager can be executed. In addition, a drive accessible for every user is set beforehand and managed. When even the display of the drive is forbidden, the presence itself of the drive cannot be confirmed from the user. Accordingly, the illegal use of a personal computer such as a game or transmitting/receiving of private mail performed daily can be prevented.
