<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method capable of learning and correcting transmission torque characteristic of a clutch relative to a clutch stroke, especially the unevenness of the manufacturing and its variation with age, and to further provide a device capable of continuously executing stable automatic clutch control even if the torque transmission characteristic of the clutch is varied with age, and a learning method of clutch characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: In the state that automatic clutch starts to be slipped at starting of the vehicle, at a small area of the clutch stroke, a flow rate of fuel fed to an engine is controlled such that variation of an engine revolution speed is temporarily maintained to an approximately constant level and variation with age of the automatic clutch is observed/recorded. When the results of the records are accumulated (for example, several hundreds times), the control constant of the automatic clutch is automatically changed, and the device can follow to the variation with age of the clutch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
