<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor having a constitution more efficient than that of a conventional technology and high current detection accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: In first and second feedback coils 16 and 17, end surfaces of outside flanges 263 and 273 are positioned at the edge of a bus bar 12, and end surfaces of inside flanges 262 and 272 are positioned in a substantially center of the width direction of the bus bar 12 and abut on each other. A void for positioning is formed in the abutting state, and a Hall element 14 is inserted into the void for positioning and fixed to it.
