摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a metal strip having excellent sheet shape by eliminating influences on the acceleration/deceleration and the sheet shape of a thermal crown by an inexpensive apparatus in a sheet rolling mill having a work roll bender for straightening the metal strip with scales on the sheet surface after the hot rolling. <P>SOLUTION: The rolling rate, the elongation and the work roll bender force of a sheet rolling mill are measured during the rolling. The rolling load during the rolling is calculated from a rolling load estimation model by using the measured elongation and rolling rate, and the pre-input inlet side thickness, deformation resistance, sheet width, input and output side tension and work roll diameter. At the same time, the influence coefficient of the work roll bender force on the sheet shape during the rolling is calculated from the elongation, the influence coefficient of the rolling rate and the shape estimation model influencing the rolling load. By using the calculated values and the shape estimation model, the deviation of the rolling load which is the difference between the rolling load under the reference rolling condition and the rolling load during the rolling is obtained, and the work roll bender force is controlled so as to eliminate the change in the sheet shape caused by the deviation of the rolling load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
