PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition forming a surface protecting layer which has high abrasion and scuff resistance and good moldability and is free from the occurrence of cracks, and the like, as the surface protecting layer of a decorative sheet used for molding a decorative molded product, to provide the decorative sheet using the resin composition in the surface protecting layer, to provide a method for producing the decorative resin molded product using the decorative sheet, and to provide a decorative resin molded product produced by the method for production. SOLUTION: The resin composition for forming the surface protecting layer of the decorative sheet is a resin composition comprising an ionizing radiation curing resin and a polymer prepared by polymerizing a methacrylic acid ester, in which the weight-average molecular weight of the polymer measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) in terms of polystyrene is within the range of 50,000-90,000.
