PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure between a metal part and a synthetic resin part which can appropriately hold the joining surfaces of the metal part and the synthetic resin part in a sealed state and a joining method. SOLUTION: The metal part 13 and the synthetic resin part 14 are joined together by injection-molding the synthetic resin part 14 on the outer surface of the metal part 13. After a seal precursor 22 with a foaming material 21 mixed is attached to the outer surface of the metal part 13, the synthetic resin part 14 is injection-molded on the outer surface of the metal part 13, and the foaming material 21 is foamed by heating. By the foaming, between the metal part 13 and the synthetic resin part 14, a foamed seal 18 having a strong resilient force is interposed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
