PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a fiber-reinforced resin which curtails a time for impregnation with a liquid resin by pressure-injecting the liquid resin although a time for arranging a sheetlike resin material is short even when the sheetlike resin material is arranged on a surface and prevents the leakage of the liquid resin between the sheetlike resin material and a mold or outside the mold. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the fiber-reinforced resin, into a reinforcing fiber substrate arranged in the cavity of the mold, from a groovelike injection runner communicating with at least part of the periphery of the cavity, the liquid resin is injected toward outlets formed at positions opposite to the injection runner with the cavity held between them to impregnate the reinforcing substrate in the cavity with the liquid resin. and next the liquid resin is cured. The sheetlike resin material, at least one surface of the reinforcing fiber substrate is covered in the cavity, is arranged to extend from the cavity along the shape of the injection runner in at least a part of the direction crossing the injection runner.
