PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit and mobile module for moving a part to be driven with a shape memory alloy as a driving source, which is capable of driving at a high speed regardless of an environmental temperature and a position of the part to be driven. SOLUTION: In the drive unit and mobile module for moving the part to be driven with the shape memory alloy as the driving source, a timing when the part to be driven is moved is controlled on the basis of a movement target position of the part to be driven and a stabilization time corresponding to this position, which is required for stopping in the position of the part to be driven, so that the part to be driven can be moved in the shortest driving time.
