METHOD OF COATING PLATE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of coating a plate material by which the inner surface of a groove on the plate material is finely coated so that the outer edge of a coating film is made straight and even R groove having projecting circular arc surface provided on the edge area is excellently coated. SOLUTION: The coating of the groove of the plate material 1 is carried out by two stages of a first coating step for applying belt like coating on the edge area of both sides of the groove by a first coating means 8 to form first coating films and a second coating step for applying the coating on the inner surface of groove held between the first coating films by a second coating means 9.
