<p>The inventive method consists in placing a test conductor and a reference conductor in a working reservoir, in switching the conductors to an external electric circuit and, when the dynamic balance of the electrochemical parameters thereof has been attained, in subsequently measuring a voltage difference therebetween. The working reservoir is filled with a medium which is inert to the conductor materials. The electronic work on escaping from the test conductor to vacuum is determined according a theoretical regularity linking the value of the measured voltage difference with the electron dipole moment, polarizability and solvation. In the second variant, the inventive method consists in placing an additional auxiliary electrode in the vessel prior to filling it with a liquid medium which is inert to the electrode materials, in switching the test and reference electrodes to an external electric circuit prior to closing the electric circuit between the test and reference electrodes for measuring the voltage difference therebetween and in forcedly obtaining the dynamic balance of the electrochemical parameters thereof which is detectable upon the current loss therebetween.</p> |
