A method for storing and extracting personal information by using color is provided to search a color tag existing within the certain range of a color inputted through digitization(RGB) of the color. A method for storing and extracting personal information by using color comprises the following steps. The keyword and color corresponding to the contents of personal information are tagged, when the personal information is inputted to a computer. The tagged color is digitized/classified and then stored together with the personal information. The color corresponding to search contents is inputted for the search of the stored personal information. After the personal information tagged with the inputted color is extracted, the extracted information is displayed on a computer screen.
