A measurement method of a biochemical change in a brain tissue of depressed animal models is provided to use a magnetic resonance imaging device. A measurement method of biochemical change in a brain tissue of depressed animal models is comprised of the flowing: obtaining the first spectrum by performing the first magnetic resonance spectrometry of the certain area of the object brain tissue; inducing depression by performing a forced swimming test to the test object; obtaining the secondary spectrum by performing the second magnetic resonance spectrometry of the same area as the first magnetic resonance spectroscopy measurement is performed; comparing the first spectrum with the secondary spectrum and measuring the biochemical change of the metabolite of the brain tissue.
