摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission control device having improved responsiveness to driving force for executing down-shift to a shift stage two or more stages apart therefrom in high response while preventing shift shock even when executing power-on down-shift with clutch-to-clutch shift operation. SOLUTION: The control device comprises a shift predicting part 31 for predicting that power-on down-shift with clutch-to-clutch shift operation is required as the next shift, and a stand-by hydraulic pressure supply control part 32 for supplying hydraulic pressure to one friction engaging element to be put in a stand-by condition right before starting engagement for executing the next shift when the shift predicting part 31 predicts the power-on down-shift with the clutch-to-clutch shift operation, as the next shift. When the conditions of executing the next shift are established depending on accelerator operation and the operated condition of a vehicle, shift instructing signals 1a-1e are output to actualize the engagement of one friction engaging element in the stand-by condition.
