PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting apparatus capable of mounting a ball on an electrode of a work with accuracy. SOLUTION: A mounting apparatus 1 has a base frame 3, a carrier stage 4 holding a work 100 and which can move the work 100 to a predetermined position to the base frame 3, a control unit 10 capable of controlling a destination of the carrier stage 4, a first inspection unit 8 capable of obtaining a mounting position information individually indicating a position of at least one electrode which is an object on which a ball is mounted among a plurality of electrodes of the work 100 in a state of being mounted on the carrier stage 4, a head holder 14 capable of detaching and attaching a suction head 13 sucking one ball and which is held in a predetermined position to a base frame 3, and a second inspection unit 20 capable of obtaining a head position information to the base frame 3 of the suction head 13 in a state of being held by the head holder 14.
