<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an area to be useless in the case of recording a thumbnail data file of a size smaller than the unit of an ECC (Error Correcting Code). <P>SOLUTION: This recorder is provided with a moving image generating means for generating moving image data; a management information data generating means for generating management information data of the moving image data; a representative image data generating means for generating representative image data of the moving image data; an error correction encoding means for applying error correction encoding processing to the moving image data, the management information data and the representative image data in each prescribed correction encoding unit; a recording means for recording the moving image data, the management information data and the representative image data subjected to the error correction encoding on a recording medium; and a control means for controlling the error correction encoding means so as to perform error correction encoding processing by forming one correction coding unit with the management information data and the representative image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
