<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body side spring support column bearing device for a vehicle wheel suspension system advantageous to mounting, manufacturing and functioning. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle body side spring support column bearing device for the vehicle wheel suspension system is provided with a spring support column 10 comprising at least an expanding/contracting type shock absorber 12 and a support spring 14 and supported by a vehicle body 20 via a shock absorber bearing 22 and by a vehicle wheel suspension element 26 via another bearing 24, and a joint 26 is provided between the vehicle body 20 and the spring support column 10.
