METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OPTICAL AMPLIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical amplifier which can actualize the optical amplifier having low connection loss with high precision by a comparatively easy technique. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an optical amplifier 10 includes a step to arrange a light hardening material in which optical amplification material is mixed in the vicinity of end surface of an optical fiber 20, and a step to propagate a laser light to the optical fiber 20 and to harden the light hardening material by the irradiation of the laser light emitted from the end surface of the optical fiber 20.
