PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the manufacturing workability of a capacitor by eliminating the interposing work of an insulating sheet unlike conventional capacitor, thereby provide a capacitor housed in a case which can be manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: A plurality of capacitor elements 1 having electrodes 2, 2 at both ends thereof are housed in the case 21. Externally connected first electrode plate 6 and second electrode plate 7 are arranged in proximity via an insulator 8, element connection portions 16 and 17 provided integrally with respective electrode plates 6 and 7 are connected to the electrodes 2, 2 of each capacitor element 1, and the case 21 is filled with a resin. Insulating boards 22 interposed between the plurality of capacitor elements 1, 1 are provided integrally with the case 21. Further, a mounting surface 25 on which one of the first electrode plate 6 and the second electrode plate 7 is mounted is formed at the end portion of the insulating board 22.
