PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and properly transmit an intention of a user on a transmission side before a telephone talk starts, and to start the telephone talk after a user on a reception side receives the intention of the user on the transmission side. SOLUTION: The communication method 500 for performing communication includes: a transmission cellphone 200; and a reception cellphone 400 communicable with the transmission cellphone 200 through base stations 110, 112. The transmission cellphone 200 includes: a sentiment information transmission step of transmitting sentiment information 290 wherein the intention of a transmission cellphone user 210 is shown; a call indication step of indicating that the reception cellphone 400 receives a call; a sentiment information reception step of receiving the sentiment information 290; and a sentiment information indication step of indicating the received sentiment information 290 together with the call.
