PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope objective lens which is easily adjusted in a distance between the frames without giving a stress to the optical elements when fixing them to the frames. SOLUTION: This objective lens has optical elements having optical axes, a plurality of frames each holding at least one of the optical elements, and a lens barrel arranging those frames by stacking them sequentially. The lens barrel has a plurality of through-holes, and metal foils is inserted between the stacked surfaces of the frames from outside the lens barrel through the above through-holes.
