PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detecting apparatus in which the number of parts is reduced and which is equipped with a structure capable of enlarging the amplitude when a liquid is detected, a liquid storing container using it, and a method for manufacturing the liquid detecting apparatus. SOLUTION: The liquid detecting apparatus 200 is equipped with a main body case 102 in which a flow path 134 is exposed and formed through an opening part 130, a sensor base 210 arranged by facing the flow path of the main body case, a sensor chip 220 carried on the sensor base, a film 202 for sealing the opening part in which the sensor base is held, and a partition wall 136 for partitioning the flow path into the upstream side 134a and the downstream side 134b. The sensor chip has a sensor cavity 222, and the sensor base has a first hole 212 for guiding the liquid to the sensor cavity from the upstream side 134a, and a second hole 214 for guiding the liquid to the downstream side 134b from the sensor cavity.
