PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight compact which enables cover body and inner cover to be opened simultaneously and the inner cover to be opened by an independent operation. SOLUTION: The compact is prepared with an inner tray filled with contents, a container body 1 which is set with the inner tray, a cover body which is engaged with the body 1 so that it can open/close and a push piece 5 which releases the engagement of the cover body by being pushed into the body 1. The inner cover has an operation tab which is connected with an end opposite to a pivot of the inner cover so that it can swing, the operation tab has a protruding tab 7 which droops toward the bottom of the body 1, the piece 5 is equipped with an extension part 5c which is connected with a press part 5a and goes to the operation tab and an end part 5e which is connected with the extension part 5c through a thin-walled part 5d so that it can swing, then, the body 1 has an operating surface in which the end part 7a of the protruding tab 7 slides by swinging of the operation tab and pushes up the inner cover to open it and a slope in which pushing of the piece 5 makes the end part 5e of the piece 5 slide and the operation tab 7 is pushed up swingably.
