An apparatus for blocking the detection of an RFID is provided to emit interfering radiowaves to prevent information from being exposed, when an RFID tag-attached product is an object to be detection-blocked. A method for blocking the detection of an RFID comprises the following steps. An RFID detection-blocking device(200) determines whether an RFID tag-attached product is an object to be detection-blocked in response to an RFID detection command, transmitted from an RFID reader(245) to the object. The RFID detection-blocking device transmits RFID detection error information to the RFID reader at the time when RFID information is transmitted from an RFID tag attached to the object in response to the RFID detection command.
