<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a titania microcrystal aggregate which is doped with a metal atom and also has a small average particle size of a crystal and to provide a dye-sensitized solar cell having excellent power generation characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises a reaction process of preparing a titania sol by mixing and reacting an aqueous solution containing a block copolymer (A) having a hydrophobic block and a hydrophilic block and a cationic surface active agent (B), an organic solvent (D) having titanium alkoxide (C) dissolved therein, an organometallic compound (E) containing a metallic element with a metallic bond radius than that of titanium so that a molar fraction of the metallic element to titanium in the titanium alkoxide (C) is in a range of 0.03 mol% to 1.0 mol%, and a firing process of firing the titania sol, and a titania microcrystal aggregate having an average particle size in the range of 1 nm to 10 nm is manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
