<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus operated with a single driving source, which suppresses noise occurring during reversal operation, without exerting an adverse influence on image formation of succeeding paper sheets when performing reversal operation of both sides. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a CPU 301 which drives (turns on) a motor at a first conveyance speed (T401) after the operation start of image formation and changes the speed of the motor to a second conveyance speed (T408 and T409) in response to the start of paper reversal operation by a paper reversing mechanism 115 and returns the speed of the motor to the first conveyance speed (T415) after the end of the reversal operation (T414). The CPU 301 is so configured that a paper feed controller 110 is controlled (T411) so as not to perform image formation for the succeeding paper sheets during the reversal operation (T409 to T414). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
