PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique in a method for producing a metallic ingot with an electron-beam melting, with which powdery alloy raw material and granular raw material are uniformly supplied into an electron-beam melting furnace at good yield. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the metallic ingot by using the electron-beam melting furnace, in which mixing materials of bulky iron material and granular titanium material are supplied as the melting raw material and these melting raw materials are melted with the electron-beam and cooled and solidified to obtain the metallic ingot; ratio of bulk specific gravities of the bulky iron material to the granular titanium material is in the range of 1.0-4.0 and the ratio of the average particle diameter of the bulky iron material to the granular titanium is in the range of 0.4-0.9.
