A method of connecting a resin hose (1) to a metal pipe (4) comprising the steps of: forming a fluororubber coating layer (2) on an inner peripheral surface of the resin hose; forming a lubricating layer (3) of a fluorine-containing lubricant on an inner peripheral surface of the fluororubber coating layer (2); and inserting an end portion of the metal pipe (4) into an end portion of the resin hose (1) formed with the lubricating layer (3). Fluorine atoms in a fluororubber molecular skeleton are hydrogen-bonded to hydroxyl groups introduced in a metal of the metal pipe (4) and therefore the adhesion between the resin hose (1) and the metal pipe (4) is enhanced for improvement of the sealing property. Further, the lubricating layer (3) facilitates the insertion of the metal pipe (4) into the resin hose (1) for the connection therebetween.
