Improvements in the aesthetic appearance and performance properties of he terophasic polymers is obtained through the breaking up and dispersion of la rge gels. According to the current invention, a novel process is provided fo r filtration of heterophasic polymers using a fiber metal felt (FMF) media. Molded articles made from impact copolymers prepared according to the presen t invention have improved appearance and fracture mechanics relative to impa ct copolymers produced according to prior art methods.
