A number of wires are gathered together and bound with an armoring material in the shape of a band. The wires in this condition are drawn by means of a wire-drawing apparatus having dies and a capstan. A plurality of bundles of such wires are gathered together and bound in the same way as in the foregoing to form a composite bundle body, which is further drawn, and these processes are repeated until at last filaments of a specified diameter are obtained in quantities.
