<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten a load on a user by supporting the user so that the user can suitably set color profiles for all objects included in VDP data, when the VDP data are generated and printing is performed using the VDP data. <P>SOLUTION: In this invention, information of a record table or file information of the object is used as a condition for VDP to support setting of a filtering rule. Then a color filter for associating the color profile with the object is set according to the filtering rule to support setting of priority to which the color filter is applied.
