<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouse which is simple in configuration, less in the number of components, and excellent in operability in presentation or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The mouse 1 is provided with: a case 11; a light emitting diode 21; a half mirror 22; a pin 23; an image sensor 24; and springs 25 and 26 or the like. The case 11 is provided with a hole 15 opened to the image sensor; a first guide path 12 for guiding the rays of light of the light emitting diode 21 to the hole; and a second guide path 13 for guiding the rays of light emitted from the first guide path, therethrough to the front of the mouse. The springs 25 and 26 are configured to pressurize the half mirror 22 downward in the hole 15. When the mouse 1 is raised, the half mirror 22 is moved downward, and retracted from the optical axis of the first guide path 12, and the rays of light are transmitted to the second guide path 13. When the mouse 1 is placed on a desk 101, the pin 23 projected from the mouse 1 main body is housed in the hole 15, and the rays of light from the light emitting diode 21 are reflected on the half mirror 22, and the moving direction is detected by the image sensor 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
