PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system in which a camera and an object to be attached can be electrically connected, a camera which can be electrically connected to the object to be attached, and the object to be attached which can be electrically connected to the camera. SOLUTION: The camera system 1 includes the camera 100 with a first electric contact part 140 and the object 200 to be attached with a second electric contact part 250. The system is constituted such that the object 200 and the camera 100 may move to straight advance relatively on a plane perpendicular to the optical axis of subject light when the object 200 is removed from the camera 100, and the object 200 and the camera 100 may be conducted through the first electric contact part 140 and the second electric contact part 150 when they are located at an attachment completing position.
