PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition in front of a cooking stove capable of being mounted without forming a clearance with a range hood even when a height difference between a work top and the range hood is not constructed like a design with a gap in the height therebetween. SOLUTION: This partition mounted between the work top 10 and the range hood at a front part of a cooking stove in a kitchen, comprises a frame 2 (2a, 2b) holding the rectangular partition 1 in a wrap around manner, a height adjusting member disposed between the frame and the work top for adjusting a height position of the frame, a cover member 4 (4a, 4b) for covering the height adjusting member, an attachment tool for attaching the frame to the work top, and a connection tool for connecting the frame to the range hood.
