PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an occurrence of printing paper curling in a printing method by an offset printing machine and the offset printing machine where printing quality can be improved by conducting ground treatment on a low whiteness printing paper such as newspaper in use of an aqueous ground treatment agent. SOLUTION: The aqueous ground treatment agent is provided on the printed surface of the printing paper, and at the same time as or after the ground treatment, water is provided on the back surface of the printed surface, and thereafter offset printing is conducted on the printing paper.
