PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cut surface on a parts side from being waved when a hard sheet material such as interlining cloth is cut, and furthermore, a cut surface of parts on the far side of adjacent other cut line from waved in cutting the first cut line when a clearance from the cut line is small. SOLUTION: When the sheet material laminated vertically such as the interlining cloth is cut by a reciprocating type knife, the knife point is directed inward from the cut line by an angle of correction and moved on the cut line, and the center of the knife is moved on the outside of the parts when seen from the cut line. According to this invention, waving of the cut surface on the parts side can be prevented even when the hard sheet material such as the interlining cloth is laminated and cut.
